Thursday, 6/20, 10:48am. My name is Sharon Jewel, 206 633 1148. I saw a
BALD EAGLE this morning on the West Seattle bridge sitting on a light pole.
It was about 8:30am.

Thursday 6/20 9:07 pm. Steven Mlodinow. Today at the Everett sewage
treatment ponds there was a hybrid CINNAMON BLUE-WINGED TEAL. There was
also an almost black duck, a bird that looked very much like a BLACK DUCK
with an orange bill that had some speckling on it. Also locally unusual
were 2 COMMON RAVENS. At the Everett waterfront there were 2 WESTERN GULLS.
That's it, good luck and good birding.

Saturday, 6/22, 4:30pm. This is Larry Switters. 425 392 9161. I spent the
last couple days doing some bird surveys for the Forest Service in the
Wenatchee area. I got a dozen BLACK SWIFTS that were 300-500' overhead; this
is 7 miles northwest of Lake Wenatchee, on a thing called the White River
Road which parallels the White River. I was on the left side of it, but you
can probably see them from the right side, at a place called Tall Timbers
Ranch. That's it, good luck.

Saturday, 6/22, 11:42 pm. This is Steven Molodinow. Today Dennis Duffy,
Ted Peterson and I birded the Rockport area and over to Newhalen and then
back down to the Samish Flats. The YELLOW BREASTED CHAT was still along
Martin Road just outside of Rockport. There was a NASHVILLE WARBLER at the
county-line ponds, the Skagit side. The county-line ponds on the Whatcom
side had two singing male VEERYS. Take Highway 20 past the Whatcom Co.
border and take the first road to the right. Make immediately another
right; that's a closed gate there, you can hear the veerys from that
location. Down at the ponds at the West 90 on the Samish Flats, fall has
begun with 2 western sandpipers and a semi-palmated plover. At the Stanwich
sewage ponds there was an eared grebe. Good luck and good birding.
