I have to chime in and say that Tweeters has really helped me to learn the
importance of a number of areas in my District for rare species. I have used
information on Tweeters to help me with field reconnaisance that, in the long
run, will allow me to make more informed recommendations on habitat protection
including acquisition and management of areas as Wildlife Areas or Natural Area
Preserves. I would hope that secrecy would be adopted only when there is a very
strong basis for concern.
