Jim Pruske, Brenda Johnson, and I joined Janet Shonk on her Hope Island
State Park bird survey. We birded Jarrell Cove State Park for a few
minutes in the morning before we joined up with Janet. Then the four us
took the boat to Hope Island where we birded the entire island. After
our survey on the island, we returned back to Jarrell Cove, where Janet
resumed her park ranger duties and the three us continued to bird
Jarrell Cove State Park. Thank you Janet for your hospitalites and

Pileated Woodpecker (Hope Island)
Purple Finch (Hope Island)
