Please don't assume that because Rufous Hummingbirds have
already been reported at Mt Tabor in Portland OR, Bellevue WA
and Nanaimo BC, that new reports from Salem or Olympia or
Victoria or any place else don't matter any more.

I suspect that this weekend will probably be the period for
filling in the gaps as the "on-time" birds start catching up
with the early ones.

If you feel shy about posting to OBOL or tweeters, send your
reports directly to me at: mailto:celata at pacifier.com and I
will include them in the next compilation report.

Please include fairly descriptive information about your
location, the number of Rufous Hummingbirds seen, their gender,
and the presence of feeders or food plants.
