I finally had a visit from a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD at my
Astoria feeder this evening almost 3 weeks after the
first Clatsop County detection.

A BULLOCK'S ORIOLE, possibly the same bird reported earlier
this year, has appeared at a feeder on the Neawanna about
1km east of the original sighting.

A well described YELLOW-SHAFTED FLICKER is coming to a
feeder near the Seaside Cove. An OSPREY was reported at
the hwy 101 nest site.

VIOLET-GREEN and TREE SWALLOWS are being seen from all
around the county.
