HI ALL:
I just picked up a copy of this title: LOGBOOK FOR GRACE by Robert
Cushman Murphy (1947, paperback reprint 1965). Murphy was the author of
OCEANIC BIRDS OF SOUTH AMERICA and worked for most of his career at the
American Museum of Natural History. Anyway the LOGBOOK was for his wife
Grace. He married her 6 months early so he could go on the whaling ship
THE DAISY and collect specimens for the museum. THis was in 1912-13 and
the ship was still under sail power! I was wondering if anyone else has
read this book and what they think of it??
