Just a quick "Thank you" to all who have responded kindly to my request for advice on where to find a good spotting scope. For the curious, I am seeking a Kowa based on several reviews I've read...but still a bit hesitant due to $$$. We'll see.

ps..last time I saw "the Olympia Mocking bird" it only had one tail feather. What's up with that? It was on Friday, March 1, and I haven't been back to look for it since.
