Tweetsters,

Despite all the snow in the NW, Snoqualmie Pass was easy travelling today.
Our intrepid group of ten birders birded the Cle Elum, Roslyn, and Cle Elum
to Hwy 97 area today. Here are a few highlights:
Common Redpolls - one flock of 100+ in South Cle Elum, plus smaller numbers
in S. Cle Elum and in Roslyn
Swallows: dozens of Violet-Green, a few Tree, and at least one Barn at the
bridge to S. Cle Elum
Waxwings: only a single Cedar in Cle Elum
Northern Shrike, Gray Partridge - along Ballard Hill Rd.
Golden Eagle - 3 different birds
Varied Thrush - numbers along the roadside in S. Cle Elum with all the snow
on the ground
Secret birds - none to report

Good birding
