Subject: western bluebird in Othello

Besides yesterday's violet-green swallows along Crab Creek in Columbia NWR,
today I had at least 3 western bluebirds. I know they pass through every
year (they have to get up north somehow), but this is only my second spring
record in the Othello area going into my 12th spring here. Mountain
bluebirds have been closer to annual, and during all seasons but summer.
Also had a very brief look at what was probably a pipit in the refuge.
