For what it's worth....

I have banded quite a few breeding season Robins at the Neawanna
which I would be inclined to call caurinus. These same birds
have been recaptured in mid-February.

Given the frequency of east of the rockies birds turning up
generally this winter, I don't think migratorius can be excluded
from the possibilities, but I agree that, short of catching the
bird and comparing it to a series, subspecies conjectures are
guesses only.
