Tim Stevens, a birder from Southern California, left a message for me on
the BirdBox saying that he saw the FALCATED DUCK this morning at 7:45 at
the original location, the flooded field at the base of Samish Island. The
bad news is that it took him three days to find it! The new "no
trespassing" sign is making it harder to look for the duck from the dike.
