My first male hummer arrived this morning at my feeder (how SWEET it is!).
I live about 7 miles ESE of Olympia (Spurgeon Creek valley, about 3-4 miles
south of where the Lacey sighting was reported a few days back). Of about
30++ red currents I have, only one is in flower (5 flowers open). I have no
salmonberry.
