Hi All,

Not much to add to Andy Stepniewski's thorough update on the FALCATED DUCK
except I did hear second-hand that the bird was seen very briefly at the
"traditional" spot at the base of Samish Island. It was seen in the ponds
in the flooded field associating, as usual, with a large group of wigeon.
This was sometime around 1:30 or so. It didn't stay long and apparently
flew to the south back towards the dike and the Samish West 90 area.

This is one beautiful bird and definitely worth the trip!

Cheers,
