Today I had a mixed flock of redpolls at my feeder in the upper Methow
Valley, including hoaries. There were 12-18 birds total, including at
least two or three hoaries.
Since I've never had them at the feeder before, I didn't have time to get
beyond the surprise/delight, to be more specific on numbers.
