As I was driving north on I-5 today, just before crossing from Pierce County
to King County, Sandhill Cranes caught my eye. There they were, larger than
life, flying across the huge animated billboard (allowable only because it's
on Puyallup reservation land) on the West side of I-5 -- advertising the
Othello Sandhill Crane Festival, which starts a week from today. VERY
big-time advertising!
