Hi all,
I was able to watch the flock though reduced in numbers this morning from 10:15-10:45 in the cedars on the NE side of my building. I DID get a photo of the bird showing the undertail coverts, but the bird is still making it hard to take a picture of the rump. As even though they came down to only about 10 feet up this morning, still no lower. The flock flew a couple of blocks to the east and lost track of them. The flock was only about 20 in size this morning, my looks of the hoary occurred from 10:20 for about 5 minutes then lost it in the cedars for the remainder of the time. I searched around the neighborhood from 8-9:30 this morning with no luck, then the flock appeared in the cedars about 10:15.
