Just got back from a walk around Green Lake (Seattle), where we found a
flock of about 15 Common Redpolls feeding in red alders on the east side of
the lake. There were quite a few Violet-green Swallows over the lake and
enough ducks to make me suspect that some migrants are coming through there.
Cold and windy - March is moving through like a lion.
