Over the latter half of Sunday found a few birds of note in Snohomish and
Skagit counties, finding 80 species total although the Yellow-billed Loon at
Cap Sante in Anacortes wasn't one of them. A few highlights, stressing
birds that seemed to be migratory:

1. MARYSVILLE STP

CINNAMON TEAL 10 (four drakes)
Canvasback 7
HERRING GULL 1 (adult)
CLIFF SWALLOW 1
Violet-green Swallow 1
Tree Swallow 11
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Yellow-rumped (Aud.) Warbler 9 (breeding plumage)
Lincoln's Sparrow 6
Savannah Sparrow 1
Am. Goldfinch 10

2. SKAGIT WMA

Rough-legged Hawk 1
GREATER YELLOWLEGS 13
Rufous Hummingbird 1
Tree Swallow 45
Violet-green Swallow 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler (form unknown) 7
PUGETENSIS WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW 1 (in song)

In addition, there was a Slate-colored (Oregon) Junco along N. Texas Rd.
near March Pt.

For Skagit County bird record afficionados: Patrick Sullivan's mid-February
record of Violet-green Swallow from the Skagit WMA was record-early, and his
high of 3 Eur. GW Teal near the Samish T was a record high for that taxon.
The Cap Sante Yellow-billed Loon is only about the 11th or 12th for Skagit
County by my records.
