Subject: Turkey Vultures Everywhere!
Greetings,
We took a trip up along the east coast of Vancouver Island today. Lots of
birds - I'll report more later.
TURKEY VULTURES were very conspicuous along the highway. Here's what we
tallied (all along the main island highway from Victoria northward)
Thetis Lake - 2
2 miles south of Mill Bay - 1
Westholme - 2
Nanaimo Bypass - 2
Head of Nanoose Bay - 5
I've posted a map at http://www.islandnet.com/~mgs/birds/TUVU_MAR28.html
Cheers,
Michael and Cynthia Shepard
