Method: 40 min station count from jetty 500m west of 3 rocks
SJCR using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting on beach,
sitting on ocean or sitting on river.

Notes: Small loons were going by at about 10/min at a distance
too far away to identify confidently. Most were probably RED-
THROATED LOONS. Two RED PHALAROPES flew by farily close to the
