Subject: Shirt pocket binoculars?

Anyone have a recommendation for tiny binoculars so I can have some
with me always, such as walking across campus from the bus to the
office? 5x or 6x should be sufficient, water resistant would be nice
but I don't expect it, especially as $50 or so is probably as much as
I'd want to pay for something that I'm likely to lose or break (items
that fit in my pockets tend to lead a very hard life...) Good close
focus distance is important if it exists, since I'm as likely to want
to get a closeup view of bugs and small plants on the ground as birds
(I don't bend as well as I used to, alas.) I love my swifts that let
me focus on my ankles, but they're too big to live with. I am willing
to pay more than the $50 if there's something absolutely great, so
please tell all.

Thanks!
