Tweets,

On Friday, March 29, I spent a couple of late evening hours in southwest Thurston County,
including about an hour in the Prather Road/Meadows Road area where I believe the Gyrfalcon
has been seen. I found a Red-tailed hawk, a Northern Harrier, an adult Bald Eagle, a couple
of very attractive male Yellow-rumped Warblers. Lincoln Creek Hunt Club, not too far to the
south, was well stocked with waterfowl and Greater Yellowlegs. A beautiful evening but I
did not find the Gyrfalcon. If anyone determines that this bird is still in the area, I
will likely try again.
