Subject: Spotted Towhee Thanks

I just wanted to say a "thank you" to all of the kind folks who helped
me out. I really do need to get a new guide or two (or three). I'm
looking forward to the move, both because of the house itself and
because of the great birding opportunities at the lake. While we were
there looking at the house, we spotted an osprey, the spotted towhee, a
Great Blue Heron and a number of cormorants and ducks (but too far away
and me without my binoculars to tell what they were). Numerous LBB's
(Little Brown Birds) flitting about that I'll have to sit down with my
(new) guide and the binocs to identify and the owner says that there's
at least two Bald Eagles living in the area that like to perch in his
tree on the shoreline. Time to set up the tripod for some photos! Gee,
can you tell I'm excited??!??

Thank you again to everyone for the prompt answer. I really do
appreciate both the thoughtfulness and the willingness to share info
with the newish.
