Now I know Michael you were only expressing your opinion on the "BIG
SIT" with humor. But "boring"?? Really? Now, 5 hours of birding
Marymoor Park, the dog capital of Washington.....Well, I guess to each
his/her own. Wouldn't you say? ;-).

As for the Big Sit, I have done the sit for the past 2 years and have
found it to be anything but boring. If you pick a good "sit site" the
day can be both rewarding and extremely challenging. I would highly
recommend that more Washington birders look into the Big Sit next
October 13th..( I think only two teams represented Washington last
year.) It's a great event and a chance to win $500.00 for your local
Audubon chapter or favorite wildlife preserve.
