Good Evening Tweets,

I ghad a better than average lunch hour today. I took a walk through the dry oak woods just west of Madigan Hospital on Ft. Lewis today in a still futile search for a "west side" White Breasted Nuthatch. But I did find 4 sparrows (Song, White Crowned, Golden Crowned & Fox) The Fox Sparrow was a surprize. I thought they would all be gone by now, but there he was and I got a good long look. It was also a 3 warbler lunch. Lots of Audubons, of course, but I was also treated to nice long looks at a female Yellow Warbler and a wonderful close up look at a Wilson's. My first Wilson's of the year! Throw in a Brown Creeper and a House Wren and it was a great walk!

Good Birding!
