Tweeters;

A very serious action was taken by by the U.S. House Armed Services
Committee when it voted to exempt the U.S. Military from the Migratory
Bird Treaty Act and the Endangered Species Act as was outlined in the
latest issue of Audubon Advisory.

The issue comes before the full house next week, so take your pen or
your computer in your hot little hand and contact your U.S.
Representative to vote against the exemption. Some of you birders could
do something constructive for a change or in the future you may not have
something to look forward to when it comes to listing or twitching.
Having served in the Army before, throughout and after WWII and seen my
share of SNAFUS by the brass, and being retired after 30 years with the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, I know that the wheel that squeaks gets
the grease. So get off your tail feathers!

You can get full particulars from GOOGLE internet and Audubon Advisory.
It's that simple.
