Friday afternoon Andrew Longtin and I spotted the partially albino Yellow-Billed Loon at Marine Park, along Ruston Way in Tacoma. The birds breeding plumage seems to be trying to appear, making an absolutely gorgeous pale, buffy yellow bird, blue eyes as before, and soft pink feet. The head at the top knot, altho not easily observed, due to the paleness of the feathering, and the bill appears slightly up-turned. This is basically the same area as seen in past winter months, and truly a sight to behold.......Vicki Biltz Bonney Lake Wa.
