Hello Tweeters,
After we had two days of good birding,seeing so many birds and finding the
Pacific-Golden Pover.
We came home and lost one of our three Golden-crowned Sparrow which been in
our yard for four days.First there was only two,but a third bird appeared,so
there was three birds.There was all three when we came home today,but a
neighbors cat appeared in our yard where this birds foraged .Two birds flew
in the tree,one flew in our backyard.New birds can get real confused when
comming in to a new place.Later we heared a bump on the window,for some
reason this bird flew in our patio window upstairs.I picked this little
helpless body up,he grasped for air and it did not locked as he would had
broken his neck.We put him in a shoebox,but after few minutes,i knew he
would not make it, since he was not moving his beak anymore grasping for
air.It is a sad evening to end with this loss of such good bird in our
yard,only comming once a year during migration.Most of the time we this get
one,but this year we had three full adult birds.So many of this birds we was
seeing today in the field,but the loss of this bird hurts me so much.What
can i say to you all than telling you all this to get over my hurt feeling.
