HOUSE WRENS returned to Ruth Fischer's Richland yard on April 15.

Bob Woodley reported that as of April 16, most swallows had returned to the
Yakima Delta with many CLIFF SWALLOWS, a few TREE, VIOLET-GREEN, and BARN
SWALLOWS. A FORSTER'S TERN was also present.

Carl Higby had a male NORTHERN BOBWHITE in his Richland yard on April 18.
Although bobwhites are probably released, they are still exciting to see.

Laurie Ness observed both FOX and LINCOLN'S SPARROWS in Zintel Canyon on
April 19. On April 13 and 19 Laurie had a CHIPPING SPARROW in her North
Richland yard. On the April 21, she had a NASHVILLE WARBLER there.

WESTERN KINGBIRDS were seen on April 22 by Chris Johnson and on April 26 by
Patty Pollari in West Richland.

Ruth Fischer had 2 CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRDS in her Richland yard on April 25
and Patty Pollari and Bob Woodley each had a male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD in
their yards on May 1.

In Two Rivers County Park in Kennewick, Dennis Rockwell saw a GREAT EGRET,
AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS and 2 OSPREY at a nesting platform on April 30.

Bob Woodley found a LINCOLN'S SPARROW in the Chamna Preserve, and 2-3 Bank
Swallows at the Yakima Delta on May 2.

Jack and Murrel Dawson had a GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW in their Benton City
yard on May 2 and 3.

BULLOCK'S ORIOLES returned to Ruth Fischer's Richland yard on May 3.
