We had a fun afternoon watching birds at a house south east of Milton
Freewater, OR. A pair of LEWIS'S WOODPECKERS and about 50 male LAZULI
BUNTINGS and 2 females along with CHICKADEES, PINE SISKINS, AM.
GOLDFINCHES, CASSINS'S FINCHES, SONG SPARROW, CALLIOPE AND RUFOUS
HUMMINGBIRDS, were some of the highlights of the day. It was a real thrill
to see that number of buntings all at one time.
