Friday, May 3, 3:16pm. This is Rachel Lawson, Birdbox System Administrator. This afternoon Vicki Bilz called to report that the albino YELLOW BILLED LOON which has been present sporadically on the Tacoma waterfront is present again today. To find the bird, go south on Rustin Way so until you get to Marine Park. The bird was seen south of the red tugboat. That's it. Good birding.

Saturday, May 4, 5:55pm. This is Alan Grennan. Today at Montlake Fill this afternoon there was a small flock of peeps including a couple of LEASTS, half a dozen WESTERNS and one SEMI-PALMATED SANDPIPER, among other birds. My phone number is 206 709 7435.

Sunday, May 5, 7:42am. Hi, this is Steve Mlodinow. Yesterday David Campbell, Steve Pink and I birded from Stanwood through the Skagit Game Range over to Whidbey Island. Highlights included a SOLITARY SANDPIPER near Sylvana, a EURASIAN WIDGEON along Norman Road, a NASHVILLE WARBLER on the east side of March Point, two AMERICAN AVOCETS at Crockett Lake. There's still also surprising good numbers of LONG TAILED DUCK around, both on Whidbey Island and off March Point. That's it, good luck and good birding.

Monday, May 6, 12:25 pm. Hi, this is Michael Cowen. I have a report for yesterday, Sunday, May 5. I live in Seattle near Seward Park. I was out weeding in my yard and a scrub jay was in my yard. I watched it for 1-2 minutes, both my wife and I watched it for 1-2 minutes. Both my wife and I are experienced birders and there's no question that it was a scrub jay. Very unusual for this area and certainly unusual for my backyard. Any more information, my number is 206 723 7461.
