OK - this is getting out of hand. After however many hundred trips to the same
location, one shouldn't be able to add new species at the rate we currently
are...

I had 45 minutes to bird while my son had soccer practice this afternoon, so I
decided to walk around the mansion area. At the SW corner of the mansion area,
in the grass near the all-but-abandoned picnic shelter there, I came across a
large flock of House Finch feeding on weed seeds. Also present were a couple
of Pine Siskin and Savannah Sparrow. And there, with them, was a CHIPPING
SPARROW! This was around 4:45 this afternoon.

This makes the 5th new species for my Marymoor Park list so far in 2002, and
the 4th new one in the last 5 weeks!
