Scott Ray and I hit Ridgefield NWR for 1.5 hours right before the gate
closed at 7:30pm this evening. Total species seen was 63. Very dead in the
woods. Highlights are:

1 Canvasback female -photo blind
1 Greater Scaup -photo blind
2 Black-necked Stilts -flew to different parts of refuge, first seen just
north of photo blind.
Dunlin -still hanging around
3 Vaux's Swifts -always find these under a rain cloud. Do they follow
clouds?
4 or 5 Purple Martins -last part of loop
