Migration is becoming evident.

On May 4, Bob and Pat Woodley found 2 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS, a YELLOW
WARBLER, 2 male WESTERN TANAGERS and a male BULLOCK'S ORIOLE in and near
Leslie Groves Park in Richland.

On May 4, Charlotte Reep observed a LAZULI BUNTING and on May 5, a WESTERN
TANAGER in Pasco.

Jack and Murrel Dawson report that LONG-BILLED CURLEWS are present along
Route 224 between West Richland and Benton City.

Patty Pollari has recently had several migrants in her West Richland yard.
On May 6 she had a BULLOCK'S ORIOLE and on May 8 she had 3 hummingbird
species: CALLIOPE, RUFOUS and BLACK-CHINNED. Bob Woodley also had a
CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD on May 8 at his Richland feeder.

Also on May 8, Michael Crowder reported 4 WHITE-FACED IBIS in a flooded
pasture along Twin Bridges Road just east of Snively Road in West Richland.

Ruth Fischer had a WARBLING VIREO in her Richland yard today and Dennis
Rockwell found a LEWIS'S WOODPECKER at Two Rivers County Park. Nancy
LaFramboise went to see the Lewis's Woodpecker and also saw the following
migrants: 1 WARBLING VIREO, 1 NASHVILLE WARBLER, 1 WESTERN TANAGER, 1
LAZULI BUNTING, 3 PINE SISKINS, and 1 WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE.

Today at the Barker Ranch in West Richland, Michael Crowder saw 3 TURKEY
VULTURES.
