Hello Tweets,

This afternoon my mother and I again ventured over to the mitigation wetland
along 96th Street East just east of Alderton in eastern Pierce Co. in search
of any changes in shorebird diversity,as well as check out the Riverside
Frisbee Golf area(bordering the Puyallup River,accessed directly north of
the mitigated wetland along Riverside Drive East and previously mentioned by
Charlie Wright yesterday). We arrived at the mitigated wetland at 2:40pm
along 96th Street East and immediately noticed far lesser numbers of
shorebirds compared to yesterday within scoping views,but were still able to
observe 7 species of shorebirds and other additional species including:

2 pair of Wood Ducks
1 male Cinnamon Teal
1 pair of Northern Shoveler
1 pair of Gadwall
3 female Buffleheads
2 pair of Killdeer(with up to 8 young observed)
1 Greater Yellowlegs
1 Lesser Yellowlegs
1 Solitary Sandpiper
10 Western Sandpipers
24 Least Sandpipers
1 Common Snipe(foraging in typical dowitcher fashion)
1 Vaux's Swift
4 Common Yellowthroats
1 female Bullock's Oriole

A fairy quick check of the Riverside Frisbee Golf area produced a small
concentration of several migrant songbirds in relatively good numbers
including the following:

1 Am.Dipper(along the Puyallup River)
1 male Red-breasted Sapsucker
2 Hammond's Flycathers
1 Pacific-slope Flycatcher
10 Warbling Vireos
7 Orange-crowned Warblers
2 NASHVILLE WARBLERS
1 Yellow Warbler
1 MacGillivray's Warbler
2 Wilson's Warblers
5 Western Tanagers
2 Black-headed Grosbeaks
