Today Grace Hubenthal and I birded Fir Island in Skagit County for the North
American Migration Count. We tallied 71 species on Fir Island for the day.

Turkey Vulture-2
Peregrine Falcon- 2 adults
Caspian Tern-3
Band-tailed Pigeon-2
American Pipit-5
Western Tanager- 5 (saw 4, heard 1 more)
Lincoln's Sparrow-1
Black-headed Grosbeak-2
Purple Finch-10
