About noon today I stopped to check the Columbia River shoreline at
Roosevelt. In with California and Ring-billed Gulls were 2 Forster's Terns.
They are commoner east of here, but tougher in Klickitat Co.

Also one mile east of Wind Mt. just east of Home Valley had 1 Lewis's
Woodpecker fly over the Hwy. in Skamania Co. This may be one of the easier
places to find Lewis's Woodpeckers for western Washington. Again this
species is common just east of there in Klickitat Co.
