Tweets,
On Sunday, while playing Whispering Firs Golf Course on McChord AFB, I
tallied 54 species. With binocs and with more intense listening, the species
count could have been easily higher, esp. with warblers. (I didn't count
numbers, only species.)
Highlights for me were two singing CHIPPING SPARROWS and a Bullock's Oriole
(my first at McChord). (I've seen Chipping Sparrows often on Ft. Lewis, but
never at McChord.)
