Pectoral Sandpipers have also made an appearance on the east side of the
state. In a flooded field in West Richland, we observed 2 Pectoral
Sandpipers on May 7 and 4 on the evening of May 11. We know of only 1
other spring record (also in May) of Pectorals in the TriCities area.
