Subject: About Crows/ Danger to Backyard Birds?

I heard about the fly-a-bird-into-the-window technique and I believe it. I
believe what everyone is saying. I myself just don't think it's very common
throughout crows. It may be in your population that is in your area, but I
myself have never seen crows from Bothell to Lynden doing anything like
that. Does that mean it doesn't happen? Nope. It's just not a common way of
finding food. If birds have to learn to outfly a merlin, especially a pair
or a pair of hunting cooper's etc., then they can out fly a crow or two.
Crows aren't very fast in level flight for long distances.
