Subject: [BIRDCHAT] Demoiselle Crane now in AK

So the bird was first seen in the Central Valley of California in Oct 2001,
was last seen in California in January, was seen May 2nd in Smithers BC,
and was just seen (May 14) near Juneau, Alaska. Of course it COULD be
different birds, but that would be even MORE bizarre. I find it pretty
amazing that there are enough birders in the world to spot this bird 3
times in 3 different locations. Now if someone would spot it crossing
into Asia, THAT would really be AMAZING!
