I have seen crows kill baby robins. I have also seen the parent robins
pursue
the killer crow apparently forever. I gave up watching.

However, Mr. Hobbes observation about predators and predatees is right
on.
This is how the 'real' world operates.

Surely we effect it by putting out feeders, and creating or destroying
environments,
but we have to acknowledge and let natural behaviors proceed.

:) remember that the next time a cougar is chewing on your butt.

(never been attacked by a cougar, but a bear sure made me sweat.)
