Today while at school, in my class that I T.A. for, I noticed this crow
raiding a starling nest or trying to. He/she would fly up to the eave of the
building, and hang from the awkardly positioned hole and try to get the
fledglings out. It repeated this several times for 15 minutes or more. It
was soooooo cool. Here at home, a crow is hunting the fledging starlings.
Hasn't caught one yet because they are sitting in trees and when the adults
call they alarm, they freeze and it's hard for the crow to find them. At one
point, it actually started chasing a starling and its parent!!! Go crows!!
