Tweets, a bit of fancy, but there is a question in here...

Me: I swear I saw a Flycatcher in my backyard this evening, Pacific-slope,
I think
Myself: A Flycatcher? What do you know about Flycatchers? You've never seen
one!
Me: There was that Western Kingbird a few years ago, but that's about it.
Myself: That's different. How do you know this wasn't a Ruby-crowned
Kinglet? Or A Vireo??
Me: Well, you know we have Ruby-crowned Kinglets in the yard frequently,
this bird looked the same, but was bigger, sparrow sized with a longer tail.
Myself: What else?
Me: Generally olive drab, a little yellow, but not much. Muted black and
white wing bars, a rather pronounced white eye ring, longer than it was
high, the crown had a definite crest, the bill was very narrow.
Myself: Bicolored?
Me: I knew you'd ask that, sorry to say, I didn't notice.
Myself: I must say it seems to take you longer than a three second
viewing window to properly ID a bird, I'm disappointed.
Me: And what were you doing while all this happened?
Myself: Moi??
Me: Vou!
Myself: Oh, I was thinking about those beautiful Goldfinches we saw this
morning...
Me: They were pretty weren't they?
Myself: I was especially impressed with the way the female blended in with
the seaweed covered rocks while the male stood out like a sore thumb. But
what about the supposed flycatcher??
Me: Well, why don't we ask the kind folks at Tweeters?
Myself: Will they answer? They almost never answer.
Me: Maybe if I ask them nicely they'll tell me if a could see a
Flycatcher in my backyard in Mid May.
Myself: And if they don't?
Me: Well, then I won't tell them about the Andean Condor that stopped at my
birdbath this evening.
Myself: You're kidding, right?
Me: Me? Do I kid? Well, no condors, but a flycatcher?
Myself: We shall see...
