a western kingbird was also observed during a trip i and two SAS birdwatch
kids led at discovery park on saturday, may 18th. it was perched atop a
tall pine by the south parking lot, then it moved to a short snag in the
same area. this sighting is another nice reminder that all kinds of
interesting birds can move through the area during migration.
