Larrison's Washington Birds lists the Harris Sparrow as a rare winter visitor
in the lowlands. "A few are seen every winter and occationally they will be
attracted to feeding trays."
I saw one outside Othello coming home from the Crane Festival. In all of my
years in California I only saw one. Actually saw it on a day when I had a
White-Crowned, Golden Crowned, White Throated, and a Harris Sparrow all in
the same area.
