Thanks for asking. You do NOT ever want to take such advice from Emails
seriously. What you sent below is the latest "Virus Hoax" that has been
floating around the Internet for the past couple of weeks. When it suggests

.... it is actually urging you to DELETE a file that is a part of Windows and
should NOT be deleted. The originator of this "Virus Hoax" is causing
mischief by urging people to do something that is neither appropriate nor
required. If a friend or colleague of yours (who sent you the message
with good intentions) actually took the advice of the original Email - then
- they have done their system harm without realizing it. They are also,
sadly, urging others to do harm to their system(s).

There have been other such "Hoaxes" during the past year or so... the moral
of the story is NEVER trust such rumours that float around the Internet.
They are almost always (a) False and (b) potentially quite Dangerous.

Hi everyone,
I was directed by another person on my email list to check for this virus on
my PC. It's called jdbgmgr.exe and it is not detected by Norton or McAfee
Anti-virus systems. The virus sits quietly for 14 days before damaging the
system. It's sent automatically by messenger and by the Address Book,
whether or not you send emails to your contacts.
I have checked, found it, and deleted it. Here's how to check for the virus
and how to get rid of it.
1. Go to START, Find or Search option.
2. In the files/folder option write the name jdbgmgr.exe
3. Be sure to search your C: drive.
4. Click "find now"
5. The virus has a teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe

DO NOT OPEN IT

6. Right click on the folder and select delete option. Then it will go to
the Recycle Bin.
7. Go to the recycle bin and delete it there as well.

If you find the virus, you must contact all the people in your address book.
I'm sorry about this, I'm sure everyone in my address book will have it.
