Hi Tweets!

Mike Wile's lunch-hour birding inspired me to venture out today. My 6 y.o. daughter and I had a great time between 10-11:30am and saw a few new birds too!

Tree, Barn, & Cliff Swallows
Cedar Waxwing (1)
Red-winged Blackbird
American Robin
Song Sparrow
Black-headed Grosbeak (male)
Red-breasted Sapsucker (1)
Yellow Warbler (male)
Blue-winged Teal (pair)
Cinnamon Teal (1 male)
Marsh Wren (with nest)
Virginia Rail (2 seen)
Common Yellowthroat (1)
House Finch (2 pair)
American Goldfinch (pair)
Brewer's Blackbird
Redhead (2 pair)
Savannah Sparrow (1)

There were also 2 Killdeer in a mudflat on 124th Street near Hwy. 203.

Happy Birding!

Karla
