This evening between 6:00pm and 7:45pm I checked out the front ponds,
walked around the boardwalk, and walked to McAlister Creek. There was an
American Avocet in full breeding plumage actively feeding on the far
bank of the newly created front left willow pond. The pond is on the way
to McAlister Creek. I was able to take a few photos and it was still
feeding when I left. Some birds seen.

American Avocet - 1
Pectoral Sandpiper - 1 (still remains in the front left willow pond)
Spotted Sandpiper - 2
Western Tanager - 1
Blue Winged Teal - 9 (6 Males - 3 Females)
Cinnamon Teal - 1 (male)
Wood Duck - 1 pair
Virginia Rail - 1 (called)
Ring Necked Pheasant - 1 (male - feeding near twin barns)
American Bittern - 2 (I was able to watch a partial calling display
through the grass with 1 of them)
