Offhand can anyone think of a bird that says "chew-ee chew-ee chew-ee
cheat!," the "cheat" being higher in pitch and kind of buzzy sounding? I
stood and listened to this bird for several minutes today, never could see
it (naturally). Was in the Capital Forest (deciduous and evergreens).
Couldn't tell whereabouts in the trees it was (i.e., up at the top,
mid-level, or what) as I was on a hill and the birds was in trees farther
down the hill. Any thoughts appreciated, have gone thru some warbler and
flycatcher songs w/o much luck.
